Shame on the Law Society of Upper Canada LSUC

Here is a recent letter I sent to the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) expressing my discontent at their decision to not allow graduates from Trinity Western University because it is a Christian University:

To: the Benchers, the CEO and the Senior Management of LSUC.

Freedom of Religion

The LSUC’s decision to not accept students who have attended Trinity Western University is itself blatant religious discrimination and is a disgrace.

This leads to only one conclusion… the LSUC will eventually also have to refuse to license graduates of already accredited law schools that call themselves “Christians” because just calling themselves a Christian could lead to them discriminating against others.

The first line of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms specifically recognizes the “Supremacy of God”. I will remind you that the God it is talking about is the Christian God referred to in the Bible and not any other God from any other religion.

Shame on all of you for allowing this to happen.
